Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Almond flour notes: or coconut flour for gluten-free option
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder notes: 100% pure, unsweetened
  • 3/4 cup Coconut sugar notes: or maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 cup Coconut oil notes: melted
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk notes: or oat milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 Flax eggs notes: 2 tbsp ground flaxseed + 6 tbsp water, mixed and set for 5 minutes
  • 1/2 cup Dairy-free dark chocolate chips notes: optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, sea salt, and baking soda.
  • In a separate bowl, combine melted coconut oil, almond milk, vanilla extract, and flax eggs. Stir until well mixed.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in dairy-free chocolate chips if using.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a nut-free option, replace almond flour with ground sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
Reheat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds for a warm, gooey texture.
